Central Florida Master Choir
The Central Florida Master Choir's latest performance, "American Spirituals and Folk Songs," will be on stage at 7 p.m. March 31 at the Reilly Arts Center, 500 NE Ninth St., Ocala, and 3 p.m. April 3 at Countryside Presbyterian Church, 7768 SW State Road 200, Ocala. No tickets needed; freewill offerings gratefully accepted.
2022 CF Student Art Exhibition
The College of Central Florida showcases the talents of Visual Arts and Digital Media students in this annual show, providing artists with an opportunity to present their work in a professional environment. Judged by Carla Poindexter, professor of studio art at the University of Central Florida. Opening reception March 30 at 12:30 p.m. The exhibition will be on display at the CF Webber Gallery, 3001 SW College Road, Ocala, from March 28-May 5 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Admission is free. 'You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown'
The beloved characters of Charles Schulz’s “Peanuts” come to life as the College of Central Florida Visual and Performing Arts presents the famous musical based on the comic strip. Twelve CF students perform more than a dozen Tony-winning musical numbers. Performances are 7:30 p.m. April 7-9, with a matinee performance at 3 p.m. April 10 at the Dassance Fine Arts Center on the CF campus, 3001 SW College Road, Ocala. Spring Concert Featuring the Harp Twins
Sholom Park’s Spring Strings Concert features the world-renowned identical twin harpists Camille and Kennerly Kitt from 4-7 p.m. April 9 at the park, 7110 SW 80th Ave., Ocala, in a unique outdoor concert experience, mixing complex arrangements of classic rock, Celtic, Nordic and soundtrack hits – even metal! Ira Holmes International Film Series
The College of Central Florida presents the finale of this series with a bonus short film festival April 12, featuring Louis Malle’s "Vive Le Tour" and Chris Marker’s time-traveling "La Jetée." The films screen at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., at 2 p.m. and at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 SW College Road, Building 8, Room 110, at 7 p.m. Films at Ocala Campus are free and open to the public; films at the Appleton are free to all museum and film series members. 14th annual Marion County Farmland Preservation Festival
This event will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9 at Rock Star Arena, 20751 NW 87th Avenue Road, Micanopy. Free admission. There will be a tractor parade at 10 a.m. food, music, farmer's market, crafts and more.
Feel Whole Concert Series
The Reilly Arts Center, 500 NE Ninth St., Ocala, presents the Feel Whole Concert Series, April 22 through May 14, uplifting the body, mind and spirit. Sponsored by AdventHealth Ocala, Feel Whole kicks off with Grammy winner Béla Fleck and singer-songwriter Abigail Washburn. A portion of tickets will be donated to health professionals and local nonprofits.
