CHP looking for driver in fatal hit-and-run
Sep. 22—The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian was killed Wednesday on Roberts Lane after being struck by a pickup truck that fled the scene, according to a CHP news release.
Around 9:38 p.m., a man walking on the westbound side of Roberts Lane, west of Belmont Avenue, was struck by a pickup truck of an unknown make and model. The man was taken to Kern Medical, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
