By Brent Lang LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Recording star Chris Brown has signed with Resolution, the talent agency said Monday. He will be represented by Phil Casey and Everly Lee. Brown just completed working on his sixth studio album, "X", which boasts collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Ludacris. The album hits stores in November and will be followed by a world tour early next year. It is a big plum for Resolution, which former International Creative Management Chairman and CEO Jeff Berg launched last January. Brown has impressive commercial chops and bridges the worlds of media and music. "Chris is a uniquely talented entertainer and we are privileged to be working with him and his team," Casey said in a statement. Brown has had his public image challenges, including a recent altercation with pop star Frank Ocean and the lingering fall-out from his 2009 arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend, recording artist Rihanna. However, he remains a popular artist. Brown's most recent effort "Fortune" debuted at number one last year on the Billboard 200 and his self-titled debut album and second album "Exclusive" were certified double platinum. In addition, to his Grammy-winning music career, Brown is an actor who has appeared in such films as "Stomp the Yard" and "Think Like a Man." Brown is managed by Bu Thiam (Bu Vision) and Tina Davis (Tina Davis Company). His attorney is Kenneth Meiselas.
