Chris Evans week to week with knee (PCL) injury suffered in Cincinnati's win vs. Carolina
Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans is week to week with a right knee (PCL) injury he suffered during Sunday's Week 9 win against the Carolina Panthers at Paycor Stadium, according to Bengals head coach Zac Taylor.
Evans, a sixth-round pick of the Bengals in the 2021 NFL Draft, was injured in kick coverage. He played one offensive play before going to the tent for evaluation.
Evans has played in 23 games over two seasons for Cincinnati.
More via Twitter from The Enquirer's Charlie Goldsmith:
Zac Taylor said Dax Hill is week to week. Chris Evans is week to week with a PCL.
DJ Reader, it's optimistic it'll be sooner rather than later. Decision next Monday.
Taylor didn't give an update on the other players on IR (Anderson, Wilson, Prince).— Charlie Goldsmith (@CharlieG__) November 7, 2022
Evans got hurt in kick coverage. The Bengals have Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine at running back. Trent Taylor will likely return kicks.
