Chris Hudson to hold workshop, concerts to support Headwaters Music and Arts

May 10—BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts will host Chris Hudson for a workshop and a couple of performances in May.

Hudson is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based out of Kansas City, Mo. He'll be bringing his guitar with him when he stops in Bemidji on May 19 and 20 as a part of his Minnesota tour, a release said.

, the public will have a chance to hear Hudson's guitar stylings from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, he performs a house concert at the home of Tom and Elisha Barry in Bemidji.

Tickets are $30 per person and appetizers and beverages will also be served. Attendance is limited to 25 guests, and the location will be sent out upon registration.

Funds raised during the event will support Headwaters Music Scholarship Program.

Those unable to attend the house concert can watch Hudson live at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at Headwaters, 519 Minnesota Ave., for a free-will donation.

The event will follow a finger-picking workshop held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20, for guitar players of all ages, also at Headwaters. The cost is $10 per participant.
