Chris Mack sports a Bengals hat on his way out as Louisville's basketball coach

Chris Mack's tenure as the head basketball coach at Louisville came to an end Wednesday, but he managed to show support to his hometown football team on the way out.

Talking to reporters outside of the University of Louisville's Kueber Center, Mack sported a white and ora Cincinnati Bengals hat.

"I’m not bitter in any way. I’m not bitter in any way," Mack said. "Loved our experience here. It was hard telling my girls. But I never will feel like a victim in anything I do.”

The former Xavier coach, a Cincinnati native and St. Xavier High School grad, has long been a supporter of the Bengals.

Earlier this year he tweeted a picture of himself at the Bengals-Packers game with the caption: "Who Dey all Dey!! Let’s go ⁦@Bengals !!"

Mack also appeared on the Cincinnati.com "Beyond the Stripes" show in 2016, where he faced former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton in a game of Pop-a-Shot.

Mack ends his time at Louisville with a 63-36 record. He was 215-97 at Xavier.
