Chris Rock gave John Mulaney divorce advice: ‘I recommended my ex-wife’s divorce lawyer’

His advice was on the money.

Chris Rock said Tuesday night that he gave fellow comedian John Mulaney some key divorce advice.

“This is how much money I lost in my divorce — I recommended my ex-wife’s divorce lawyer,” Rock told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.” “I was like, ‘You should get this guy. He’ll get you your money. This guy’s good.’ I walked out with nothing!”

“That’s a friend,” the late-night host replied.

Mulaney, 38, and Anna Marie Tendler, who have been married since 2014, revealed last week that they’re splitting up. Mulaney has started dating actress Olivia Munn.

Rock, 56, finalized his divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock in 2016 after 20 years of marriage.

“I wasn’t a good husband a lot of the times,” he admitted in 2017. “I was a piece of s---.”
