Roughly three dozen GMA Dove Award wins will be represented onstage when acclaimed Christian and gospel artists Chris Tomlin and Erica Campbell take the stage on Oct. 18 at Nashville's Belmont University as the co-hosts of the 53rd GMA Dove Awards.

"I am so honored that the Dove Awards would invite me to be a part of such an important and influential night. As I take a step back and look at history, it is incredible to see the positive impact that church music has not only had in our industry but on popular music as a whole," says Tomlin. "I have heard it said, 'you lose what is not celebrated' and I am so excited for us to take a moment and celebrate the artists who paved the way, the artists of today, and hopefully help inspire and launch the generation to come."

Once known as half of iconic gospel tandem Mary Mary, nine-time Dove winner Erica Campbell currently hosts the nationally syndicated morning show "Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell."

The field of nominees is led by producer and songwriter Jeff Pardo's nine nominations,  plus pair of seven-timers: fast-rising worship collective Maverick City Music and longtime Christian music staple Matthew West.

Also, Australian-born and Nashville-based For King & Country -- two-time defending Artist of the Year winners -- scored six nods. Other artists joining For King & Country as six-time nominees include Anne Wilson, Ben Glover, Jeff Sojka, Jonathan Smith, and Phil Wickham.

The most hotly contested trophy of the evening could be for Artist of the Year, where CeCe Winans, family band We The Kingdom, and hitmaking singer-songwriter Zach Williams contend against previously-mentioned Maverick City Music and For King & Country.

A limited number of tickets are still available. In addition, Music City Fan Experience tickets are also available. For more information, visit https://doveawards.com.
