Chrissy Teigen is pregnant again and very happy about it.

“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” the model wrote on Instagram to caption a picture of her baby bump.

Teigen, 36, and husband John Legend, 43, conceived the child through IVF, a process Teigen discussed earlier this year.

“(One) billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” Teigen wrote Wednesday. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘OK, if it’s healthy today I’ll announce,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”

The couple suffered a crushing miscarriage in 2020, which Teigen also shared on Instagram. They had decided to name their third child Jack, but never got to meet him.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” she wrote. “To our Jack - I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

The pain stuck with Teigen, who said in December of that year that she thought she’d never be pregnant again. However, she restarted IVF treatments earlier this year.

“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing,” Teigen wrote Wednesday. “OK phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”

Teigen and Legend are already parents to 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles.
