Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Got Into a Very Big, Very Relatable Fight at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Wedding

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Hollywood’s most relatable couple, have another relationship story that will make you say, “You too?”

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend continue their reign as Hollywood’s most relatable couple with the latest anecdote from their marriage: They apparently got into a very big fight at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding in 2015. They don’t remember what it was about (again, relatable), but they do remember that they were miserable.

“We try to think about this all the time,” Teigen during her and Legend’s appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night. She elaborated, “I think I was really intimidated, and I think I came from a lot of insecurity and I took it out on John. . . .There was a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room . . . that’s where it stemmed from.” (If you recall, the Kardashian-West wedding rehearsal dinner was at Versailles.)

Teigen continued that she was “just very insecure—I think that’s where it stemmed from. And then it just—you know how things snowball into a bigger thing. And also drinking, so that doesn’t help." Ain’t that the truth!

Of course, three years later Teigen and Kardashian West are now very close friends, so clearly neither the bride nor groom held anything against the couple for bickering on their special day. But Teigen says that “it was a major blowout to the point where every time I see [Kim and Kanye], I feel like apologizing for it.” Legend, for his part, said that he didn’t think they knew or noticed, which (uh-oh) Teigen disagreed with: “Oh, everyone knew,” she said. Again we ask, could these stars be any more like us?
