Cookbook author and model Chrissy Teigen has left her role from the Netflix animated series “Never Have I Ever” after bullying allegations were made against her by Courtney Stodden.

The 35-year-old mom of two was going to be featured as a guest start on the Mindy Kaling created series, Teigen’s spokeswoman told People magazine. A new actress will likely be recast.

Controversy has been following Teigen since the allegations against her were made public in a profile published by The Daily Beast last month. The backlash against Teigen grew so severe, she made a public apology on Twitter.

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bull**** in front of the entire world,” Teigen wrote on Twitter. “I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Teigen also attempted to reach out to Stodden, who came out as non-binary in April.

In May, Target took Teigen’s cookware off their shelves following the allegations. Macy’s followed suit.
