Cookbook author and model Chrissy Teigen has left her role from the Netflix animated series “Never Have I Ever” after bullying allegations were made against her by Courtney Stodden.

The 35-year-old mom of two was going to be featured as a guest start on the Mindy Kaling created series, Teigen’s spokeswoman told People magazine. A new actress will likely be recast.

Controversy has been following Teigen since the allegations against her were made public in a profile published by The Daily Beast last month. The backlash against Teigen grew so severe, she made a public apology on Twitter.

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls— in front of the entire world,” Teigen wrote on Twitter. “I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Teigen also attempted to reach out to Stodden, who came out as nonbinary in April.

In May, Target took Teigen’s cookware off their shelves following the allegations. Macy’s followed suit.
