Chrissy Teigen may be a big supporter of Meghan Markle but who knew that the embattled Duchess of Sussex is one of her biggest supporters?

During Tuesday’s appearance on the “Watch What Happens Live” after-show, the TV personality revealed to Andy Cohen that the two formed a friendship after connecting about their experiences with pregnancy loss.

Teigen, who’s the wife of John Legend, lost her son, Jack, in September, while she was 20 weeks pregnant. In November, Markle shared that she had suffered a miscarriage over the summer.

“She’s been so kind to me ever since we connected… she had written me about Baby Jack and loss, but yeah,” Teigen shared. “She is really wonderful and so kind, and just as kind as everyone says she is.”

“And that’s why you look at everything and are like, ‘My god, what is absolutely wrong with people where they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy when it’s just as simple as them being as kind as everybody says they are?’ ” she added about the controversy the runaway royal has been mired in since marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

“So yeah, she’s a really wonderful person,” Teigen said.

For years, the model and cookbook author had voiced her support for Markle, but in early March tweeted that the latest negative headlines about her allegedly bullying her former royal aides “hit too close to home.”

Other celebrity notables – including Beyoncé, Idris Elba and Serena Williams – have rallied to support the former “Suits” star’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7 that rocked the British monarchy.
