Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks has a new fiancé in George Bianchini.

Having met on the set of NBC crime caper Good Girls five years ago - Hendricks played Beth Boland while Bianchini worked as a camera operator - romance is still very much in the air as the former announced their wonderful news on Instagram this week.

Next to a picture of the happy couple, a caption revealed: "We proposed to each other and we said yes!!! I will love and care for him forever. @steadig."

Marvel Cinematic Universe regular Kat Dennings celebrated in the comment section, writing next to heart emojis: "Christina!!! I love you, so happy for you both."

Fellow Mad Men cast member January Jones added: "Yayayayayayay!!!!!" while Community's Alison Brie replied: "Congratulations!!! So happy for you both!!"

"I cannot wait to see your dress! You will be an astonishing bride. Congratulations you guys, this is beautiful" and "Whoever currently holds the title 'Luckiest Man on Earth', we need you to turn in your crown. We have a new champion!" read another pair of messages.

In less celebratory news, Hendricks (who voiced Cherie in Netflix's Solar Opposites) previously shared her sadness over the cancellation of Good Girls.

"Well, we gave it our all. We really did," she penned on social media, alluding to her own voluntary pay reduction to keep the show afloat. "Thank you to our amazing fans through the years for all your passion and support."

Annie Marks actress Mae Whitman also addressed the axe with: "Feel too sad and confused to look at my phone but just a little look back at some of the best times with my girls.

"Love my pals on this cast so much and love YOU guys who loved the show. It was such a joy being Annie and I'm forever grateful to you for supporting us. [Ok, I'll] go cry now, love you."
