Lampard also said she later conquered her fear of water after water skiing across the English Channel for charity: "If you face your fears sometimes, great things can come of it."
For the challenge, Lampard raised over £1m for Sport Relief and in the process became the first person to water ski across the English Channel.
Welch revealed that she conquered her fear of water after jumping into the sea with Alison Hammond filming the whole thing while Hunniford said she still didn't know how to swim.
Holmes, despite being an Olympic athlete, also said she was a "weak swimmer" and in particular hated the cold water.
She also recalled the time she had to swim on TV for Bear Grylls: Mission Survive: "I just went, tried obviously, went on my side, went on my back, legs went under, I was underneath the water, managed to get my head up, went 'I’m drowning!' the cameramen jumped in, they had to rescue me!"
She added: "It was awful! I don’t know if I’ve ever got over that, yet I did go into the sea in Miami, I was well impressed with myself."
