Selling Sunset season 4 spoilers ahead.

It’s no secret that Christine Quinn is the shining, overdramatic diva of Selling Sunset. After all, who else can go through an entire pregnancy in five-inch Louboutins?

But as season four came to a close, her dramatic bust-up with Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause and the rest of the Oppenheim Group seemed to mark the beginning of the end for Christine on the reality series.

Driving off into the sunset in a yellow Lamborghini, Christine was suspiciously missing from the teaser for the upcoming season five as well.

So what exactly happened, and is Christine actually quitting the show? Here’s what we know.

Selling Sunset season 4: What happened in the finale?

At the obligatory glamorous end of season bash, Christine was backed into a corner as she was confronted by the girls about claims she made about newcomer Emma Hernan and their mystery “shared ex”.

Throughout the season, the icy tension between Emma and Christine was unshakeable, with neither willing to move on without an apology from the other first.

Christine claims she caught Emma with The Ex shortly after he had proposed to her, and suggests Emma may have even been proposed to by him with the same ring she’d been given two months later.

However, despite her claims otherwise, no one, including their mutual friend Mary, knew Christine’s engagement had even happened.

Emma maintains she didn’t even know about Christine until she was confronted by her in a gym parking lot, but wasn’t quick to accept Christine’s version of events or attempts to bury the hatchet.

As a result, Mary, who felt Christine was cutting her off throughout the season by not inviting her to her baby shower or thanking her for her baby gift, got into a fight with her as all their tension reached boiling point.

It resulted in Mary declaring their friendship over, despite Christine’s upset and insistence that she “loved her” and wanted to clear the air.

In tears, Christine fled the party with her husband Christian, driving off and away from the rest of the girls.

As the others discussed what happened, it became clear that Christine was officially in exile from the girl squad... and they even wanted her out of their shared workspace at the real estate agency.

“She is not changing, and hopefully she just quits the Oppenheim Group,” Emma told the others. Ominously adding: “I mean, honestly at this point, she’s done.”

Has Christine Quinn left the Oppenheim Group?

While the season-four finale seemed to suggest her days at the group were numbered, Christine has already confirmed she will be appearing in the next instalments of Selling Sunset.

Not that her friendships with the others have been mended much in the time since filming stopped.

While the rest of the girls celebrated major occasions including Heather Rae Young’s wedding day, Christine wasn’t even invited.

While filming the latest batch of episodes in October 2021, Christine took to Twitter to air her frustrations and put speculation she’d quit the show to bed.

In a video posted from the Oppenheim Group LA offices, Christine showed the rest of the gang taking group shots while she was ignored at the back of the room.

“Got cut off and I’m soooo tired of addressing this,” she wrote. “I am in every single episode of season 4 and 5 of Selling Sunset. The girls leave me out of photos.

“I have real work to do besides sit on my phone and prove 24/7 that I’m filming a TV show. Y’all going to see me.”

When is Selling Sunset season 5 launching on Netflix?

While Selling Sunset season five is officially on its way, it’s not been confirmed when we will see it on our screens.

However, the first spin-off of the show, Selling Tampa, is coming out on 15th December.

Selling Tampa will see a completely new cast and agency, heading to Florida’s Allure Realty, an all-female, all-Black real estate company.

The team will be kept in line by no-nonsense military veteran, Sharelle Rosado.

There is also a second spin-off, Selling The OC, currently in the works, which will see Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim launch a new branch of his real estate company in Orange County, Los Angeles.

No news yet of Christine making an appearance in any of the spin-offs, but we’ll find out soon enough…

Selling Sunset seasons one to four are available now on Netflix.
