Friday

Sara Evans "Blue Christmas Tour"

7 p.m., Old National Events Plaza; tickets are $39.50 (plus processing fee).

Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans is stopping in Evansville to perform her Blue Christmas Tour with special guest Everette.

CHRISTMAS AT GERMANIA – Welcome the holiday season with Christmas at Germania, presented Dec. 7 and 8. German food, pageant, choral music and gemutlich will make for a wonderful evening. Saturday

A Downtown Christmas

11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Main Street in Evansville, free.

This family-friendly event iwill get everyone in the Christmas spirit. There will be free photos with Santa, meet and greets with Comet the Reindeer, Holiday Craft stations, and free hot cocoa. Children can come write letters to Santa and mail them from the postal box on 3rd and Main.

UE men's basketball

1 p.m., Ford Center; tickets range from $12 to $47.

The Purple Aces play the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in non-conference action.

Philharmonic Orchestra Presents: Candy Cane Express

2 p.m., Victory Theatre; $25 and $30 adult tickets on the main floor or balcony, and children and students are free in the orchestra section and $10 in the balcony.

This one-hour matinee is designed for families with children and features a number of local collaborations with performers from throughout the Tri-State.

Toys For Tots Fundraising Event

5 to 6 p.m., Cherish Jewelers, 944 N. Burkhardt Road, free.

This fundraising event includes face painting, free cupcakes and hot chocolate, choir singing and giveaways. Visitors are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to drop in the Toys for Tots collection boxes.

Peppermint Pops: A Jazzy Tri-State Christmas

Dec. 4 and 5, 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m., Victory Theatre, Tickets range from $10 to $80

Get into the Christmas spirit while enjoying various old school, jazz styles with original holiday songs. Songs like It's the most wonderful time of the year, Once Again It's Christmas Time This Year, and more will be preformed by the orchestra.

Evansville Thunderbolts vs Birmingham Bulls

7 p.m., Ford Center; tickets range from $8 to $30.

Cheer on the Thunderbolts as they take on the Birmingham Bulls. This game marks the start of Girl Scout Cookie Kick Off and ends with the beloved Teddy Bear Toss.

Leanne Morgan

7 p.m., Old Events National Events Plaza, tickets are $39.50.

Comedian Leanne Morgan is stopping in Evansville for her first national headlining tour. She combines her Southern charm and hilarious storytelling to keep the audience coming back for more.

Kenny G concert

7 p.m., Victory Theatre; Tickets range from $47 to $117

Instrumentalist Kenny G is stopping in Evansville on his "The Miracles Holiday and Hits Tour."
