Christmas Carol show set for Thursday at the Goss

The timeless story of The Christmas Carol will take audiences on an imaginary and musical journey on Thursday, at 7 p.m. in the Reliabank Theater in the Goss Opera House.

Flower and Flame, a group of four musicians and an actor from Sioux Falls set the stage for the Christmas season with the well-known story that has helped shape the modern day celebration of Christmas into what it is today and has changed the way western society looks at the holiday season.

The show features Darrel Fickbohm, an actor, who narrates the story and voices the notable characters of Ebenezer Scrooge, Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the three ghosts.

He is accompanied by four professional musicians from the South Dakota Symphony performing more than 14 songs such as Carol of the Bells and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

Tickets are $25 and are available in advance at Dustin Sinner Fine Art, or online at thegossoperahouse.com and will be available at the door. It is sponsored by the Johnson Appraisal, Inc., All ticket sales benefit the Friends of the Goss Opera House Foundation.
