Christmas on the Pecos, the annual Carlsbad holiday boat ride, returns Nov. 24.

Passengers can relax on the Noelle or the Rudolph, boats that seat up to 30 individuals, as they take in the Christmas light decorations lining the banks of the Pecos River, according to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.

Homes along the Pecos River boast light displays featuring Santa’s workshop, the Southwestern desert and traditional Christmas themes.

“Christmas on the Pecos is considered one of the top 100 must see events in North America,” according to the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce website.

Here's how to join the fun in 2023.
