Christy Carlson Romano Gives Birth To First Child, Baby Girl Isabella
Christy Carlson Romano gave birth to her first baby, a daughter named Isabella, on Christmas Eve. Isabella is the first child for Romano’s husband, Brendan Rooney, as well.
“Brendan and I are more than thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Isabella, on December 24th at approximately 4 p.m.,” Romano wrote in a Facebook post, according to E! News‘ Kendall Fisher. “Merry Christmas everyone!”
At the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie premiere for Adventures in Babysitting this past June, Romano confirmed that she was going to have a baby and told E! News that the due date was near Christmas.
“My husband and I are expecting our first child,” she said at the time. “So it seemed only appropriate that I would come back and celebrate with Disney, DCOM style.”
“December 25! Our due date is on Christmas,” Romano added. “If anyone knows me, I’m obsessed with Christmas. I also have two Christmas movies coming out around the same time, so it’s going to be a very Christy Christmas.”
Romano recently posted several pictures to Instagram showing off her very big baby bump.

Just a week ago she posted a pic of her grocery shopping on a motorized scooter because it had become too difficult to walk and she was already starting to dilate.
