Chronic Wasting Disease Plagues Deer

When a hunter kills a white-tailed deer, they’re encouraged to see if it carries chronic wasting disease. It’s a service that’s offered for free by the CWD Processing Center and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The testing is a way to keep other animals, like elk, reindeer and moose safe.
