CHS speakers advance to State

Feb. 26—ELDRIDGE — Clinton High School speech team members received 15 Division II (Good) ratings and 14 Division I (Excellent) rating at the district level individual speech contest on Saturday at North Scott High School

Rhys Bostic, Juliana Clark, Kailea Estes, Haylee House, Mason Luckritz, Riley Ottens and Marcus Steen each earned at least one Division I rating. They all will advance to the Iowa High School Speech Association's Individual Events State Contest March 9 at Cedar Rapids Xavier.

—Mason Luckritz: Solo Improvisation (1), Solo Musical Theatre "If I Can't Love Her" (1).
