Chuck E. Cheese’s first cookbook features bizarre pizzas and other party snacks
Pizza promoter Charles Entertainment Cheese has always promised a party in your mouth — now, under your own roof.
That’s because the animatronic MC’s iconic chain of American family entertainment restaurants, Chuck E. Cheese’s, has announced the release of its first cookbook.
That’s right, the Big Cheese himself is sharing party-ready recipes that are sure to hit millennials, especially, with a wave of nostalgia. Even those who aren’t old enough to remember the robotic rat pack perform (since the kid-favorite company got rid of the band in all locations but one last year) will surely enjoy the 128-page cookbook.
The “Chuck E. Cheese and Friends Party Cookbook” features all of the characters children love to see at birthday parties, such as hound dog Jasper T. Jowls, anthropomorphic chicken Helen Henny, and the pizza-loving rat himself, Chuck.
The cookbook “is a celebration of the joyous moments shared with family and friends and captures the essence of the fun and joy of the Chuck E. Cheese characters,” a press release said.
Each recipe even comes with extra immersive experiences, such as games, jokes and links to video dance parties — including DJ Munch’s remix of “Chuck E.’s Happy Dance.”
Recipes include breakfast pizza, rainbow marble unicorn cake, Kansas City BBQ chicken pizza, “mummy” dogs, cheesy puff pastries, French toast dippers and a quesadilla pizza.
“Chuck E. Cheese and Friends Party Cookbook,” published by Weldon Owen, retails for $22.99, is scheduled for release on March 19 and is currently available for pre-order.
If your little one isn’t into cooking and would rather watch you do all the work, the “Chuck E. Cheese & Friends Coloring & Activity Book” is also available for pre-order so they can be occupied while waiting for their delicious eats.
