Houma: The Salvation Army has a job opening for bell ringers for the Houma area. Participants are required to successfully complete the seasonal fundraising program of The Salvation Army, commonly referred to as Red Kettle program. For information or to apply, call 447-2930.

Thibodaux: University Baptist Church will present a Live Nativity at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4 at 904 Menard St.

Houma: The Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild, 630 Belanger St., has scheduled a Christmas Art Market for 1-7 p.m. Dec. 4, the day of Houma's Downtown Christmas Parade.

Thibodaux: The Salvation Army has begun this year's Adopt an Angel program. Bring joy to a child this Christmas season by picking an angel from a tree at the Thibodaux, office, 924 Jackson St. Fill out adoption form, purchase a new gift and return it to the office by 3 p.m. Dec. 10. Gray: The Houma Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Toy Drive distribution is scheduled for Dec. 11. It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Visitors Center, 114 Tourist Drive in Gray. The agency has been collecting Christmas toys for Terrebonne Parish still recovering from Hurricane Ida. The distribution is free to all and will not require registration. Toys will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, one toy per child. The bureau is accepting donations until Dec. 10 at the Visitors Center.
