The Worship Choir and Orchestra and Kids Praise will be joined by the Rider High School Drum line and our very special guest, Jody McBrayer, of Avalon on Sunday December 11 at 3 PM and 6 PM.

The Church at Sheppard, 2101 Puckett, will offer Contemporary Services at 9:45 and 11 a.m. Life Groups are available for every age each Sunday. First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd.: At 10:30 A.M. worship this Sunday, December 18, the fourth Sunday in Advent, Rev. Michael Hansen, Senior Pastor of the Church, will preach. He will continue the Advent sermon series titled “Ancient Promise, Living Hope.” His sermon is titled “Our Restoration” and is based upon Zephaniah 3:14-20.

The Outreach Committee has set up an “Angel Tree” in the Atrium. Please remember to take a ball off the Angel Tree to provide Christmas gifts to the foster children of Presbyterian Children Home and Services.

The Church is offering an Advent Devotional titled “The Promised One.” A copy may be obtained from the Church office or in the Narthex.

The Church will hold a “Birthday Breakfast for Jesus” on December 18 beginning at 9:30 A.M. in the old Theatre at the Church.

Beth Barnard, Director of TLC, has accepted a position as Instructor of Early Childhood Education at MSU. The Congregation will celebrate her service to the Church during worship on December 18 with a reception and light refreshments to follow.

A candle light Christmas Eve worship service will be held on December 24 at 6:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary.

Christian Education is available for all ages every Sunday morning at the Church between 9:30 and 10:15.

All those in need of prayer or pastoral care are invited to contact the Church office.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church: All members are asked to use the Harding St. entrance and wear a face mask. If you can't make the service the deacons will be available on the Bailey Street side of the church 30 minutes after service if you would like to contribute to the tithes, offering and receive the Lord's Supper. New Hope Presbyterian: New Hope Presbyterian Church will host the their Christmas Eve Communion Service 7 p.m. Dec. 24. The service will include the celebration of Holy Communion at the Lord’s table. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s table at New Hope Presbyterian Church. We will host an intimate Christmas Day service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 25. New Hope is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and dedicated to glorify God through Reformed worship, inclusive membership, mission outreach, and stewardship of God’s creation.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1420 Borton Lane: New Jerusalem offers meals for shut-ins, food distribution through the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank Mobile Pantry, clothing and health checks on the fourth Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon.
