Church news: Pleasant Valley UMC to host strawberry festival on June 17
DENNISON ‒ Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 4195 Pleasant Valley Road SE, Dennison, will hold a strawberry festival from 3 to 6 p.m. June 17 at the church. Cost is a freewill offering.
Special music planned at Coshocton County church
COSHOCTON ‒ Darius McBride will be the guest singer at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday at Prairie Chapel Methodist Church, located at 45494 County Road 23, (4.3 miles west of Coshocton on U.S. Route 36). McBride received his music education degree from Malone University in Canton in 2016. He just recently accepted the position of choral director (grades 9-12) at Westerville South High School. McBride is also co-director of the All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir.
He will be singing 2 songs at the church, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" arranged by Dan Forrest, and Richard Smallwood's "Total Praise". For more information, call the church at 740-622-3992 during regular business hours or leave a message.
