  • Cigarette Racing and Mercedes-AMG teamed up to release a 2,250 hp boat.

  • The boat features 5 Mercury Racing V8 engines and can rocket this baby to a staggering 90 mph.

  • This is the 13th boat that Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have jointly developed.

Your Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is one of the best performing sports cars on the planet, though it has a massive performance flaw: it can only drive on land. With most of Earth’s surface covered by water, you’re limited to where you can take your beloved Black Series. Fortunately, the folks at Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have a fix: the AMG GT Black Series of boats. Dubbed the Cigarette 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series, this boat will help you show the world that you like getting places quickly.

For those unfamiliar with Cigarette Racing, the company has been producing high-quality racing boats for decades. That makes it the perfect partner for the AMG team to work with when making an absurdly quick boat.

Unlike the AMG-powered AMG GT Black Series, the Cigarette Racing-bred boat doesn’t use, well, AMG power. No, instead it sports five Mercury Racing V8 outboard engines. Combined, these 4.6-liter V8 engines make 2,250 hp and can sprint the sport boat to 90 mph or 78 knots. The engines are controlled by a shadowing throttle system, using two engine speed levels to control all five engines.

This 41-foot boat is just more than blazingly quick. As you’d expect from the folks at Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing, it’s also impressively posh. There’s plenty of comfortable seating wrapped in Cigarette Cool upholstery for a handful of your favorite friends to keep them comfortable while you’re ripping around in your 2,000+ hp boat.

As for the styling? Well, it’s styled after the AMG GT Black Series, so it’s not going to get misplaced in the marina. This striking Cigarette boat magmabeam orange and black finish is far from subtle and will catch some eyes.

There’s no word on how much one of these machines will set you back, but we’re betting it’s more expensive than the $325,000 AMG GT Black Series it’s based on. But if you have the need for speed on the water, this might be one of the most fun ways to scratch that itch.
