Cincinnati is a better city for football fans than Kansas City, Cleveland, per new report

The Cincinnati Bengals might have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game. But a new report says the Queen City is better than KC in a specific football-related area.

WalletHub recently released its 2023 list of best and worst cities for football fans ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl, and Cincinnati ranked No. 8 among the best cities. It was the only Ohio town to crack the top ten, outranking Cleveland (27), Dayton (68) and Columbus (72). It also finished just above Kansas City, which ranked No. 10.

The following Ohio cities also made the list: Youngstown (83), Toledo (100), Kent (116), Oxford (122), Athens (129), Bowling Green (199) and Akron (235).

To break it down further, Cincinnati ranked No. 11 for professional football fans and No. 45 for college football fans.

To determine its rankings, the site compared more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team and based its list on 21 key metrics, including the number of teams, stadium capacity and fan engagement.
