Cincinnati Museum Center offers free admission to children who are vaccinated against COVID-19

Children who show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination will receive free admission to the Cincinnati Museum Center through the end of the year.

The initiative from the museum and the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust Center aims to encourage more people to become protected from COVID-19 by starting the vaccination process, according to a news release.

Any child who brings proof of vaccination — even if it is just the first of two shots — will receive a free ticket for admission to the Children's Museum, Cincinnati History Museum, the Museum of Natural History & Science, and the Holocaust and Humanity Center.

The offer does not extend to the Holiday Junction featuring Duke Energy's holiday trains, or The Science Behind Pixar and OMNIMAX films.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has authorized the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 and older. The CDC recommends all children in that age group to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. Children under 5 have not been authorized to receive the shots.

The offer is valid through Dec. 31. For more information, visit https://www.cincymuseum.org.
