Opening Day is Thursday, and luckily for us, the weather seems like it will cooperate for the parade, game and outdoor festivities.
Although rain is in the forecast over the weekend, the National Weather Service in Wilmington predicts Thursday will be sunny, with a daily high near 60 and east wind around 6 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Thursday night will have an overnight low around 46, and a chance of showers after 2 a.m.

After Thursday's sun, Friday and Saturday are predicted to have showers, although the daily highs will be in the mid-50s to mid-60s. By Sunday, the sunny skies will return with a daily high in the low 60s.

The Oho River at Cincinnati is receding after it rose to 44.01 feet on Monday over the action stage of 40 feet. By 8 a.m. Thursday, it is predicted to be at around 37.4 feet.
The flood stage for the river at Cincinnati is 52 feet.
