Cincinnati Reds series opener vs. New York Yankees delayed until 8:05 p.m.

7:20 p.m. update: About a minute after the Yankee Stadium grounds crew began working on the field, the Yankees announced Tuesday's first pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.

There was no rain throughout the weather delay, but the start time was pushed back for nearly an hour to avoid burning starting pitchers in case it did start raining.
