Happy almost-holiday Monday! Enterprise reporter Patricia Gallagher Newberry here with another story off the parks beat.
When Cincinnati officials installed a new she-wolf statue in Mount Adams’ Eden Park in November – replacing the one stolen more than a year earlier – they heaped thanks on the staff, volunteers and donors who made its return possible. A “local sculptor” got a shoutout during the unveiling and on a new park sign. But no name.
We rectify that today with a profile of Ted Gantz. At 79, the Cincinnati native has created dozens of projects for public and private clients. His Prospect Hill home showcases his work, too, along with his love for all things Italy.
It’s the Italian connection that drew him into the she-wolf saga.
