Cincinnati streetcar, local reps on Trump indictment, today's top stories | Daily Briefing

Good morning! Sherry Coolidge, here.

You’ve seen me pop up in the Daily Briefing to talk about City Hall, but did you know I co-host The Enquirer’s "That’s So Cincinnati" podcast with Executive Editor Beryl Love?

Co-hosting with your boss is not for the faint of heart, but ... just kidding. We’ve worked together for so long we can tell what the other is thinking, which is important when trying to ask good questions on the fly. (We also wouldn’t be able to do it without producer Phil Didion, known to listeners as “Silent Phil.”)

Every week, we look to the region’s leaders and newsmakers to take you behind the story and tell you about those people making the news. And, of course, we break news too.

This week’s guest was Cincinnati Deputy Streetcar Manager Lori Burchett, who took over running the project last fall. Love the streetcar or love to hate it, Burchett provided us with a new perspective.

You can find the podcast anywhere you listen to your podcasts, or by clicking here. And be sure to check out our past episodes with guests like Emilio Estevez. Yes, that Emilio Estevez.

Thanks for reading … and listening.
