Cincinnati weather: Up to 2 inches of snow possible across region Saturday night, Sunday
A winter weather advisory is in place for much of Greater Cincinnati from 11 p.m. Saturday until noon on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.
The agency says to anticipate snow, with total accumulations of up to two inches, especially on grassy and elevated surfaces. Slippery road conditions are also expected.
The advisory is in place for Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties in Indiana; Gallatin, Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Grant, Pendleton and Bracken counties in Kentucky; and Butler, Brown, Clermont and Hamilton Counties in Ohio.
Chances for rain and snow increase late this evening with light accumulations forecast. Accumulations will be limited to grassy areas and elevated surfaces with a few slick spots possible Sunday morning. Above freezing road surfaces will help limit hazardous travel. pic.twitter.com/sbaTJ5iDNo
