Cincinnati weather: Clear skies and good weather this weekend before Sunday storms roll in

After the heat, Cincinnati is in for a weekend of more normal June temperatures and mostly clear skies before storms roll in Sunday.

According to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are likely Sunday afternoon and evening, with a few possibly being strong to severe. Damaging wind is the primary severe weather threat.

Otherwise, expect temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s over the weekend.

Detailed Cincinnati forecast

Friday: Patchy fog before 9 a.m., then sunny, with a high near 89. Tonight, patchy fog after 2 a.m., otherwise mostly clear with a low around 61.

Saturday: Patchy fog before 9 a.m., then sunny, with a high near 93. Saturday night, partly cloudy with a low around 73.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 92 and a chance of showers, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 11 p.m. Sunday, mostly cloudy with a low round 64 and showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8 p.m.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 80.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 84.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 88.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 94.
