Cincinnati weather: Rain and thunder tonight, possible severe storms
Update 3 p.m.: The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, expects showers and thunderstorms Friday night, with the highest chance for severe storms from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Damaging winds will be a primary threat in Cincinnati and other areas, and isolated tornados are possible.
The areas included in the service's hazardous weather outlook include East Central Indiana, Southeast Indiana, Northeast Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Central Ohio, South Central Ohio, Southwest Ohio and West Central Ohio.

Rain is in the forecast for Friday, along with the potential for some severe weather.
According to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service in Wilmington, showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight with a threat of damaging winds. Severe storms are expected to occur between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Additionally, a wind advisory is in place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and down tree limbs, which could result in some power outages.
The weather service advises to secure outdoor objects and to use caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
