Cincinnati weather: What's the forecast for Labor Day, Riverfest, WEBN fireworks?

Get ready to fire up the grills one last time before summer officially ends. It's going to be a beautiful Labor Day weekend in Greater Cincinnati.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, surface high pressure over the lower Great Lakes will bring dry and mostly sunny conditions across our area Friday. The forecast for the rest of the long holiday weekend also calls for sunny skies, gradually warming temperatures and, most importantly, no rain.

The next chance for rain and storms may come Wednesday and Thursday. Otherwise, expect mainly sunny, clear weather next week too.

Highs will be close to 90 on Sunday and rise to the lower 90s Monday through Wednesday, about 10 degrees above normal.

Friday: Patchy dense fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 85.

Friday night: Patchy fog after 4 a.m. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 61.

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 92.
