Just one minute after midnight, the first baby of 2022 in Greater Cincinnati arrived at St. Elizabeth Edgewood Family Birth Place.
At 12:01 a.m., Luna Willett was born at 8 pounds and 6.2 ounces. She's the daughter of Kezia Libo and Brendan Willet.
At least six other families welcomed their little ones at Greater Cincinnati hospitals within the first eight hours of the new year.
At 12:07 a.m. Calvin David Morris was born at 6 pounds and 15.5 ounces at Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital. He's the first child of Zach Morris and Aleesha Rayl.
At 1:01 a.m., a baby boy was born at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to Marena Ndeye.
And at 2:57 a.m., a baby girl, Lenslee, was born at Bethesda North Hospital, weighing 6 pounds and 9.8 ounces.
Jenna Winston Smith was born at 7 pounds and 13 ounces at 6:29 a.m. at Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital. She's the third child of Phany Tith and Raydon Smith.
Just a short time later, a baby was born at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, arriving at 8:08 a.m.
A few minutes after that, Lillian Grace was born at UC West Chester Hospital at 8:15 a.m.
