Cinema Social hosting Grand Opening Weekend

Jan. 23—CORBIN — Cinema Social is hosting a grand opening weekend to celebrate their rebranding.

Cinema Social was formerly the Tri-County Cineplex.

The theater turned entertainment center has been a staple of the Corbin community for many years.

In addition to still operating several theater screens, Cinema Social now offers bowling, an arcade, a golf simulator, and a restaurant/bar.

Beginning on Friday, January 26, through Sunday, January 28, Cinema Social will be offering $3 domestic beers, $4 craft beers, $5 cocktails, and $6 wings.

Additionally, there will be a ribbon cutting at 12 noon on Friday, followed by Singo (musical bingo) on Saturday at 3 p.m.

They will also be showing the Kentucky Men's Basketball game versus Arkansas at 6 p.m. on Saturday; and the NFL's AFC and NFC Conference Championship games on Sunday.

Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus, who owns and operates Cinema Social with her husband Greg, had this to say about the grand opening weekend: "We strive at Cinema Social to create a welcoming and immersive entertainment experience for all ages, and we are so excited to show the community all that we have to offer."

Cinema Social is located at 1871 Cumberland Falls Hwy. in Corbin. Their hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
