Cinemark to celebrate ‘Twilight’ before Christmas with 5-movie marathon

Cinemark is celebrating the “Twilight” before Christmas with a massive 5-film marathon that will bring the full series back to theaters over five days. Both the Universal CityWalk and Artegon Marketplace Cinemark locations will be hosting the event, which kicks off at 7 p.m. Dec 2 with the first “Twilight” film.

Following the initial showing, each sequel film will be shown on the big screen at 7 p.m. on subsequent nights, finishing up with the final film in the series “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2″ on Dec. 6. Each film will only screen once, so if you want to see the whole series you’ll want to make sure to clear your evenings during this 5-day special engagement.

The “Twilight” saga was a strong player at the box office during its original run from 2008 to 2012, grossing over $3 billion worldwide, with the second film, “New Moon,” setting a record for the biggest midnight opening in domestic box office history when it was released in 2009.

Tickets for this limited-time event are available now and must be purchased individually for each film. Price ranges between $10.50-$13 depending on the day and location. More information is available at the official Cinemark “Twilight Before Christmas” event website.
