Cinnaholic opens today in Fayetteville. Here's what to know before you go.
California-founded vegan cinnamon roll and dessert franchise Cinnaholic, which appeared on ABC's "Shark Tank" in 2014, opened its first Fayetteville store Friday.
Shawna Hanks, 33, and her husband Brandon, 37, both active duty in the Army, own the new 1,200-square-foot store at 1928 Skibo Road, Suite 116, in Skibo Marketplace shopping center.
The couple said they expected hundreds of customers at the opening, where Beats headphones, an iPad, a portable speaker and Cinnaholic gift cards will be raffled off, a DJ will play music and customers can buy their first cinnamon roll for $2 until 2 p.m.
“It's surreal,” Hanks said. “It's really happening.”
Though some locals are hesitant about the chain’s plant-based offerings, her husband said, people who have tried Cinnaholic treats are glad to welcome the chain to the city.
“They’ll say, ‘I can’t believe one is opening in Fayetteville,’” he said.

What’s special about Cinnaholic cinnamon rolls?
Made from scratch and baked in-house daily, Cinnaholic cinnamon rolls are vegan and cholesterol-free.
The classic roll is simply topped with vanilla frosting, and there are six signature rolls in flavors like caramel apple pie, peanut butter banana with chocolate, berry, s’mores and chocolate chip cookie dough.
Customers can also choose from 18 frostings and 25 toppings to build their own creations.
What is the best Cinnaholic cinnamon roll?
Hanks said her favorite cinnamon roll is her own creation, topped with raspberry and graham cracker crumbles.
Her husband, who said he is a chocolate lover, said the signature cookie monster is his go-to order: cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce.
Do they only sell cinnamon rolls?
The store also sells edible cookie dough by the scoop or by the tub, freshly baked brownies, chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon cookies and banana bread.
Vanilla and chocolate soft-serve ice cream made from soy and oat products are sold by the cup, as well as Dole Whip flavors like mango and pineapple.

Looking for a lighter option? Get an “everything but the roll” dessert: apple or a banana with the toppings of your choice, like peanut butter, caramel, marshmallows or chocolate sauce.
Is everything at Cinnaholic vegan?
All the desserts sold at Cinnaholic are vegan.
Are there any gluten-free options?
Hanks said that because the baked goods are made with flour containing gluten, the bakery cannot guarantee that items like the ice cream and “everything but the roll” are gluten-free, but they are considered “gluten-friendly.”
What are the prices?
Build-your-own cinnamon rolls start at $5.50 and signature rolls start at $7.50. Brownies are $3, cookies are $2.50, and banana bread slices are $3.

How many Cinnaholic stores are there and where are they?
The Fayetteville store is the chain’s 11th in North Carolina and 101st in North America. Cinnaholic has locations in 25 states and Canada.
What are Cinnaholic’s business hours?
Cinnaholic will hold business hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
This Friday and Saturday, however, the store will close at 9 p.m.
Do they offer delivery and catering?
Next month, the store will offer pickup through the Cinnaholic website and mobile app and delivery through Doordash. Catering will be available through ezCater.
