The Circle is getting a whole new look for its second series, and so is presenter Emma Willis. Lots of new looks, in fact!

The former Big Brother host is taking over Channel 4's interactive reality competition, bringing with her a huge change to the established format. Don't worry, the good stuff is all staying the same!

Contestants will all still live in the same apartment building, and still only connect with one another through a social media app — where they can try to win over one another honestly or through catfishing like last year's winner Alex Hobern (aka Kate).

What's changing for the second series is that Emma Willis will be popping up every week for a live episode featuring interactive elements.

In these episodes, viewers will have a chance to directly influence the game-playing in "different dramatic ways" using The Circle's app, according to Channel 4.

To celebrate this big format change, Channel 4 has released a fun trailer illustrating the ways players can try to manipulate the game in their favour — as Emma Willis undergoes some extreme transformations:

Emma recently chatted about joining The Circle, admitting that she missed the first series because she was understandably busy when it aired last year.

"I came to it late because it was on at the same time as Big Brother, obviously, so I was not watching it while it was on," she told Digital Spy.

"I was obviously intrigued because it was up against us. So I watched it afterwards. And it was just one of those things where you kind of go, 'I'm going to watch another one. I might watch another one. Shit, I'm in, it's got me!'"

The Circle will be returning to Channel 4 soon.
