Citrus Coast League selects its top performers for seven spring sports in 2022

KaiLea Reyes of Santa Paula earned Most Valuable Player of the Year honors and Amber Sage of Nordhoff and Liliana Arana were the co-Pitchers of the Year for the 2022 All-Citrus Coast League softball team.

Named to the first team were Madison Gray and Julyssa Tobias of Santa Paula; Amber Cervantez, Kayleen Jacinto and Aryanne Munoz of Fillmore; Mikyla De Alba of Nordhoff; and Madison Mora of Carpinteria.

Named to the second team were Mia Cardenas, Jayleen Morales and Alexis Carrillo of Santa Paula; Natalie Sanchez and Analise Luna of Fillmore; Jaucelynn Ayala of Hueneme; Maggie Caputo of Nordhoff; and Amarisse Camargo of Carpinteria.

Earning honorable-mention selections were Jennavie Neri, Miraya Guzman, Bianca Rivera and Brandy Moreno of Hueneme; Sofie Aviles, Emma Estrella and Lilly Murillo of Fillmore; Denise Ruiz, Abagail Moore and Jacaranda Shephard of Nordhoff; Abby Ibarra and Mariah Hernandez of Santa Paula; and Natalie Vilchez, Caden Lemere and Ashlee Mora of Carpinteria.

Dawn Santiago of Hueneme was named the Coach of the Year.

Tyler Antwine of Santa Paula was named the Most Valuable Player and Bryce Zavala of Santa Paula earned Pitcher of the Year honors.

Austin Stone of Carpinteria was the Singles Player of the Year and Cole Everett and Gavin Johnson of Nordhoff are the Doubles Players of the Year.
