BATTLE CREEK — The City of Battle Creek is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys this holiday season in support of several local organizations.

Battle Creek Fire Department stations are currently accepting toy donations to support The Salvation Army. Those interested can drop off toys at Station 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Stations 2-6 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. now through Dec. 14.

  • Station 1 – 195 E. Michigan Ave.

  • Station 2 – 145 N. Washington Ave.

  • Station 3 – 222 Cliff St.

  • Station 4 – 8 S. 20th St.

  • Station 5 – 1170 W. Michigan Ave.

  • Station 6 – 2401 Capital Ave. SW

The Battle Creek Police Department is teaming up with the Marine Corps Reserve for their Stuff-a-Truck event from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday on North Division Street, near Commerce Pointe.

The Battle Creek Police Department, meanwhile, is teaming up with the Marine Corps Reserve to host their annual Stuff-a-Truck event for Toys for Tots. This event is slated for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday on North Division Street, near Commerce Pointe, across from City Hall and the Police Department.

The city also has a Toys for Tots collection box near the elevator on the first floor of City Hall, 10 N. Division St.
