City Council Names Johnson As Loganville's Permanent Fire Chief

LOGANVILLE, GEORGIA — Capt. Tim Johnson was named Loganville’s permanent fire chief at Thursday’s city council meeting. Johnson had been named interim chief in August 2019 when Carl Morrow resigned to become Walton County’s emergency management director.

A veteran of the department for nearly 25 years, Johnson first joined the Loganville Fire Department in 2007. He’s been full-time with the department since 2007. Nearly 50 notes of congratulations to Johnson have since been posted on Loganville’s Facebook page.
