City of Dayton conducting residential survey

The City of Dayton is seeking the opinions from residents about living in Dayton and the City government, according to a news release.

The annual Dayton survey began arriving at approximately 9,000 randomly selected homes during the week of September 19.

Residents may get an envelope showing the City of Dayton logo and a message, “Help the City of Dayton serve you better by taking this survey!”

It consists of 80 questions covering city services, programs and priorities, the release said.

Participation is anonymous.

Dayton Mayor Jeffrey Mims is asking residents receiving the survey letter to respond.

“Make your voice heard by participating in the 2022 Dayton Survey,” he said. “We strong encourage residents to provide feedback on City services, policies, and the Dayton community. Your responses will help influence and inform City programs and initiatives for all Dayton residents.”

Residents have until October 14 to returned a completed survey in a postage-paid envelope.

The City has surveyed residents for more than three decades.
