Dec. 13—The City of Great Bend Tuesday held an employee luncheon at the Events Center with a main agenda item being the honoring of long-time city personnel. Recognized were 20 staff members with five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service, representing 205 years in all.

"The city wishes to thank those receiving service awards," said Human Resources Director Randy Keasling, himself among those honored for his five years. "We appreciate the dedication our employees make in serving the citizens of Great Bend."
