City of Palestine under boil water notice after flooding

PALESTINE, Texas (KETK) – The City of Palestine said their water system is under a boil water notice following recent flooding.

Boil water notice issued for subdivision Wells Landing in Livingston

According to the city, the Neches River received excessive rainfall which caused flooding, resulting in a boil water notice. Officials said they expect the flooding will continue through Monday, Jan. 29.

Under a boil water notice, all water for consumption should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes before its used.
