City tournament bracket set; Cathedral, Crispus Attucks slotted as two seeds

The boys City tournament bracket is set with two-time defending champion Cathedral as the top seed.

No surprise there. Cathedral is the defending state champion and ranked second in Class 4A with a 7-1 record. Crispus Attucks (3-4) is seeded second and on the other side of the bracket.

Below is the full bracket for the City tournament, which will open Jan. 17 and conclude Jan. 23 with the championship game at Tech.

No. 9 Cardinal Ritter (5-4) at No. 8 Purdue Poly (11-3), 7:30 p.m.

No. 13 Providence Cristo Rey (1-9) at No. 4 Bishop Chatard (6-2), 7:30 p.m.

No. 12 Washington (4-5) at No. 5 Heritage Christian (4-5), 7:30 p.m.
