City of Tuscaloosa releases its 2023 summer Live at the Plaza band lineup

Adam Hood, Plato Jones, CashBack and several other acts will play the summer 2023 Live at the Plaza series, held in the 5-acre Government Plaza, 2106 Sixth St. downtown.

The city of Tuscaloosa's free concert series, held 6-9 p.m. Fridays in June and July, has announced its summer schedule. Sponsors for Live at the Plaza 2023 are Coca-Cola and The Avenue Pub + Wine Market.

The lineup:

  • June 2: Tyler Sellers & The Wreckers, Plato Jones

  • June 9: John Wilson Band, The 3 Thirty Three Band

  • Jun 16: AJ and The Midnight Soulz, John Bull Trio with Peggy Walker

  • June 23: Adam Hood, TBS Band

  • June 30: CashBack, Cotton Mouth Creek

  • July 7: The Locked Band, Tranquility

  • July 14: Stone Harbor, Mach Ten

  • July 21: Jackson Chase, Lock 9 Band

  • July 28: Hannaward Pass, Zach Guffrey Trio

The concerts are free, and family- and pet-friendly. Free parking is available in the parking deck abutting Government Plaza, on 23rd Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets. Patrons can bring blankets, chairs and picnic baskets, though concessions will be sold. Live at the Plaza began in 2015 as an idea to draw more people and events to downtown Tuscaloosa.
